The Washington Salmon Recovery Funding Board approved a total of $3,134,215 in grant funds to Lummi Nation, Nooksack Tribe, and Whatcom Land Trust for six projects that will restore and protect salmon habitat. Funding for the grants comes primarily from the federal Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund and Puget Sound Acquisition and Restoration Fund.
